Actually you can see a seam. The mosaic is made up of four rows of images; 2 on the top row, 4 in the two rows below it, and 2 on the bottom row. There is a seam between the left image on the top row and the image below it. I tried making adjustments, but when that seam was not apparent another one would pop up between the top two images. I plan to reprocess the images, but want to take a break since I have spent so much time on this mosaic.

Nothing beats the resolution of the mosaic.
It's hard work sometimes though.

As I said privately, Ted, this is a very nice and thorough job on the Rosette. I had very little input except maybe to hold you back! I forgot to ask if you think you have time to get in the blank four corners.

Because of the location of the trees and my house in the backyard, I am about to lose the Rosette Neb for this season. I would need 4 more nights, with 2 hrs of imaging each night, to get the four missing images. The four missing images make it very apparent it is a mosaic, so it is unlikely I will attempt to finishing it this season or at all. As for your remark about your input, you know exactly what I mean.
