Very very nice image. 29 panel mosaic is quite a feat.

OK, I am not really interested to take images of Moon, I run more for DSO but this one is fine piece of almost art.
Nice job.

Great, just great! I agree with Gene - a 29 panel mosaic that actually goes together seamlessly without any obvious difference in luminance is a real accomplishment. Super sharp and 3D appearing. Congratulations Ted.

I have noticed a problem with my Moon mosaic caused by how I put the mosaic together. If you look closely on the right side of the image, you can see that some of the craters are doubled. The problem caused the offset of the terminator at the top of the image, which I had assumed was caused by the delay in taking the images. I have since corrected the problem, but see no sense in reposting the image.

My feelings are, he who looks at the image and sees it's problems, can't look at it again without seeing the flaws. Plus they are flaws that can easily be corrected.

Very nice indeed! Have you tried Microsoft ICE for stitching the mosaic? It's free, super-easy (drag-and-drop the images to be stitched and the software does the rest), and 9 times out of 10 it does a good job. All the same you have done a great job!

In the case of this flawed mosaic, I used PhotoShop Elements' "photomerge". As with Microsoft ICE, 9 times out of 10 it does a good job. Unfortunantly, this attempt was the one bad time out of the ten I have since run the 29 images through PhotoShop Elements again and successfully created a good mosaic.
