Finally a night of good conditions. Didn't collect as much signal as hoped, stopped acquiring when target crossed meridian and "confused" the guiding.
M-101 was discovered by Pierre Mechain on March 27, 1781. Its distance is estimated at 27 million light years +/-.
Acquired & processed w/IP 3.0, finished in Photoshop.

Looks very nice for only 55 minutes total exposure. Stars are nice, colors look good.

Thanks, this is my first shot at imaging this object. I had hoped to collect considerably more exposure but just wasn't meant to be this time.
