I did a re-processing of this one which (I think) is a great improvement. I have saved the old one in my folder just so that anyone interested can compare. Will delete it at some point.

It appears that you've learned some new tricks over the past 5 months. That's a definite improvement. What did you do? Change image processing software?

Thanks. Basically what I realised was that I had to treat the image as three parts. The witch head nebula, the background and the stars. I did them in three different layers in PS and used a layer mask to blend the Nebula with the background. The stars in a separate layer with color blending.

Forgott to give Hunter the credit for giving me the tip to use a "hide all" layer mask and "paint" the Witch head visible. Thanks again Hunter!

Looks very good, Matts! I don't know how you got so much detail on the first version, and this one, well.... you have really done it! So far, this is your defining image.
