Description: ISO1600 Ha: 24x10min = 4hrs OIII: 18x10min = 3hrs R = Ha G = 90% (OIII G) + 10% (Ha) B = 90% (OIII B) + 10% (Ha) I find this area difficult to image due to the dense star field. Narrow band certainly makes it easier to control star sizes. I found my first version a littel too dark so I brightened up the nebula a litte. Sorry to spam, but I had a copy and paste error in the date.

Moon in clouds

Description: Some thin clouds rolled in and created a tunnel effect. Due to the high dynamic range (difference in brightness between the moon and the clouds it was necessary to take two images; one for the clouds and one for the moon. They where then combined in Photoshop CS2 with the clouds as the background and the moon with blend mode lighten.

Cygnus-area

Description: The two brightest stars above are (from right to left) Deneb and Sadr. They form the head to neck part of the Cygnus (Swan) constellation. There are several named nebulas visible in this image. Below Deneb is the North American nebula (NGC 7000) and the Pelican nebula (IC 5067). Just below the Pelican is IC 5068. Gamma Cygnus nebula (IC 1318) surrounds Sadr. At the left edge in level with Sadr, the Crescent nebula (NGC 6888) is just visible
